Results of the "Russian Construction Week-2024"

The day before, Moscow hosted one of the country's most significant events in the construction sector – "Russian Construction Week-2024".
"Russian Construction Week" is a unique platform for demonstrating the achievements of the construction industry, exchanging experience and expert opinions, and searching for business partners.
This year, it was visited by more than 18 thousand people, and the exposition occupied an area of almost 20 thousand square meters.
This year, the RSN included the following thematic sections: the fifth international specialized exhibition of construction, finishing materials and technologies ROSBUILD 2024; the exhibition "WORLD OF GLASS 2024", within which glass products, technologies and equipment for glass processing were presented; the salon "Low-rise housing construction"; the forum "Building the future of Russia together".
Among the exhibitors, in addition to manufacturers and suppliers of advanced materials and technologies for construction, decoration and design, almost 600 developers from 53 regions of the Russian Federation also took part.
In addition to the exhibition component, visitors are traditionally attracted by the rich business program of the RSN.
In his welcoming speech, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin spoke about the dynamics of housing commissioning in 2023, noting that despite a number of difficulties, last year was the most successful for the construction industry (110 million square meters were commissioned in the country at the end of the year. housing, which has improved conditions for more than 4 million families).
The main event of this year's Russian Construction Week was the All-Russian meeting "Development of Housing Construction in the Russian Federation". The main accents in the speakers' speeches were made on the topic of import substitution, the problems of the lack of analogues of high-quality building materials on the market.
They also touched upon the issues of technical regulation and the transformation of mandatory requirements in construction into voluntary ones, and ideas for wider use of alternative design solutions were voiced.
The personnel issues of the industry were not ignored either – they became the subject of discussion by the participants of the round table "Personnel decides everything". The speakers noted that professional skill contests are important for attracting qualified personnel to the construction industry, as well as active work with educational institutions.
In general, the events of the Russian Construction Week were very fruitful for all participants, and preparations for the Russian Construction Week 2025, which will take place next March, have already started.
