The day before, the Interregional Construction Forum-2024 was held in Khabarovsk at the House of Officers of the Eastern Military District, which was attended by over 300 participants – representatives of government authorities; developers; specialists of design organizations; employees of companies producing construction materials; heads of banking institutions; entrepreneurs; experts.
In 2023, the forum was held in Vladivostok, this year the organizers decided to hold it in Khabarovsk, as the Khabarovsk Territory is becoming more attractive for both federal developers and regional construction companies: from the point of view of the development of the building market, Khabarovsk today looks more promising than Vladivostok, since there is a shortage of places for construction.
The event was held with the organizational support of the Khabarovsk Territory Government.
There were three main venues at the forum: for developers and general contractors; for sales departments; and a round table for highly specialized specialists.
The forum was attended by almost 50 speakers, among them: Kerim Sungurov, Deputy Chairman of the Khabarovsk Territory Government for Construction; Alexander Levinthal, Managing Director for the Far East of JSC DOM.Russian Federation"; Pavel Simigin, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; Dmitry Palazhchenko, executive director of the non-profit organization Association of the Industrial and Construction Cluster of the Khabarovsk Territory, heads of large developers, representatives of real estate agencies, employees of the marketing department of the Aeroplane company and many others.
The forum participants discussed a wide range of issues: new requirements for project financing, trends in the development of the housing market in the Far East, marketing and sales, mechanisms for obtaining land plots, modern trends in design and architecture, production of building materials in the Far East, etc.
The forum presented analytics on current and potential building volumes, forecasts and prospects for the regions of the Far East in the field of housing construction.
- Specialists of the Far Eastern Design Center always try to attend the most important business events in the region, especially those of an industry orientation.
I would like to note the high level of the last forum both from an organizational point of view and from the point of view of the circle of invited speakers. The discussions turned out to be bright, informative and useful for the participants of the event: there were a lot of analytics and successful cases. The holding of such industry forums in Khabarovsk indicates that the construction industry of the Khabarovsk Territory is on the rise, that there are good prospects for the development of housing construction here. We see that federal developers are actively coming to our region now. Of course, this is facilitated by the fact that the regional authorities pay serious attention to improving working conditions in the industry and removing administrative barriers," said Nikita Bozhok, head of the Far Eastern Project Center.
