The formation of a comfortable urban environment continues in the Khabarovsk Territory

Nikita Bozhok, General Director of the Far Eastern Design Center, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Khabarovsk Territory, comments:

- I am sure that every resident of the Khabarovsk Territory notices how the appearance of the region is changing in a positive way, how many well-maintained public territories have appeared over the past few years. This became possible thanks to the projects initiated by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, first of all, we are talking about the national project "Housing and Urban Environment", within which the program "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" is being implemented.
The program has been in effect since 2019, during which time over 500 public territories in 56 settlements of the Khabarovsk Territory have been landscaped – 2 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes. It is important that exactly those public spaces are being developed that are offered and voted for by the residents of the region themselves. In addition, in the process of project implementation, there is also close interaction with residents – both at the stage of developing the concept and design documentation of public space, and at the stage of project implementation and acceptance. As a result, modern, well-maintained squares and parks appear in the settlements of the Khabarovsk Territory, which are becoming popular places of recreation and attraction for people.
The program has proven itself well, has shown its relevance, and in January of this year, the President of the Russian Federation announced that its validity would be extended until 2030, moreover, for entities located in the Far Eastern Federal District, financing would be increased by 5 billion rubles. Of course, this is very good news. She emphasizes the attention that is being paid today by the federal authorities and personally by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to the development of the Far East.
It is encouraging that the activity of citizens in the implementation of public initiatives is growing. In figures, if in 2022 77 thousand people took part in voting for the improvement of public territories in the Khabarovsk Territory, then last year this figure was already 114 thousand people.
This positive dynamics indicates that people see the real results of the program, that it really works.
Of course, we would like to involve the residents of the region even more in the voting process for the improvement of public spaces.
The process of choosing territories for development consists of two stages – preliminary voting, when residents of the region can offer those spaces that, in their opinion, need improvement. You can do this either through the website www.za-gorodsreda.ru , or through the Internet resource of the municipality where the citizen lives.
Next, a list of the most popular public locations is formed from this data, which is submitted to the final vote, which takes place on the site www.za-gorodsreda.ru . The voting process is simple, you only need authorization through the portal "Public Services".
But if suddenly a resident of the region for some reason does not have the opportunity to vote on the specified site, he can easily do it with the help of volunteers - voting points work in large shopping centers, are organized during mass events. The help of volunteers in the implementation of this program is invaluable, for example, last year more than 270 volunteers helped with the voting.
I urge the residents of the region to be more active in this vote, because this will further improve our beloved region, make it more comfortable and beautiful!
This year, the final vote for the arrangement of public spaces of the region traditionally starts in the spring.
