1500 people attended the events of the business program of the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum.

It took place on the federal territory of Sirius. Nikita Bozhok, General Director of the Far Eastern Design Center, also took part in the Conference. The event was established as part of the decisions of the second Russia–Africa summit, which was held in St. Petersburg in 2023. The key event was the plenary session. It was conducted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. 54 chairmen of the official delegations of African States and regional integration associations took part.As part of the business program, 20 panel sessions were held. Topical issues on the agenda included food security and cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, training for real sectors of the economy, digitalization, cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare.Bilateral negotiations and working meetings, as well as expert discussions took place within the framework of the conference. The Khabarovsk Territory was represented at the event by Nikita Bozhok, General Director of the Far Eastern Design Center.- More than 40 countries of the world were represented at the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, which was held at Sirius. We managed to hold meetings with some participants and present the export potential of the Khabarovsk Territory. In particular, we held talks with representatives of Nigeria. This country has recently entered the top 5 in terms of imports of fish products from the Far East. He presented the potential of our companies so that the share of imports of the Khabarovsk Territory in these indicators would increase, and enterprises in the region could find their partners in foreign markets. This will definitely lead to mutually beneficial cooperation. I am sure that new countries will appear among the partners of the Khabarovsk Territory," said Nikita Bozhok, General Director of the Far Eastern Design Center. The Conference ended with a closing ceremony. It was attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanian Affairs Abroad of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug and Deputy Chairman of the African Union Commission (CAS) Monique Nzanzabaganwa.- As President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin noted in his greeting to the participants of the event, cooperation between the Russian Federation and African states is becoming more intense and multifaceted – this is fully confirmed by the substantive program of the ministerial conference. During the two-day communication, the heads of the foreign ministries reviewed various aspects of the implementation of the Partnership Forum Action Plan for 2023-2026, and also outlined new, promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation. I am sure that the extensive program that was organized within the framework of the Conference strengthened the existing ties and further expanded the horizons of joint work between Russia and Africa," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the Preparation and Holding of Events in the Russia–Africa format.
