The industrial and construction cluster of the Khabarovsk Territory has a positive effect on the dynamics of the region's construction complex

The industrial and construction cluster of the Khabarovsk Territory, which is an association of leading companies in the construction industry of the region, was created in 2022. The need to create such a cluster was announced by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin within the framework of the WEF 2021. The President noted that one of the most acute problems of the region is the shortage of building materials, which directly affects the pace of implementation and the cost of projects not only in the infrastructure sector, but also in the housing market, and set the task to multiply the production of building materials in the Far East, including through the organization of a modern cluster of this industry in the Khabarovsk Territory.
Last year, a similar association was created. Its participants are companies of the industrial sector that produce modern construction materials, organizations of the infrastructure of the industry, including design companies, as well as educational institutions.
In December 2022, the industrial and construction cluster of the Khabarovsk Territory confirmed compliance with federal requirements for industrial clusters and was entered into the federal register.
The Far Eastern Design Center is also a member of the industrial and construction cluster of the Khabarovsk Territory.

- Not much time has passed since the beginning of the cluster, but already today its participants note that such an association creates favorable conditions for the development of new types of products, increasing production volumes and generally positively affects the work of the construction complex of the region, including the dynamics of housing construction. The Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Vladimirovich Degtyarev announced large-scale plans for the construction of housing facilities. Until recently, the main problem that held back the growth rate of housing construction in the region was the raw material problem. Thanks to the creation of the cluster, it has begun to be effectively solved, which means that the Khabarovsk Territory and the regional capital will grow in serious volumes of residential real estate in the near future," commented Nikita Bozhok, head of the Far Eastern Project Center.
