The General Director of the Far Eastern Design Center is running for the Khabarovsk City Duma
From September 6 to 8 this year, Khabarovsk will hold elections to the Khabarovsk City Duma of the eighth convocation. This is an important event in the life of the city, because the activities of the people's deputies, for whom Khabarovsk residents will vote, in the next five years will largely depend on how successfully Khabarovsk will develop, how effectively the problems of its residents will be solved. As part of the conference of the Political Council of the local branch of the All-Russian Political Party United Russia, it was decided to approve the candidacy of Nikita Bozhok, Director General of the Far Eastern Project Center, to participate in the upcoming elections to the Khabarovsk City Duma.Nikita Sergeevich is running in the 21 single-member electoral district of Khabarovsk, which includes part of the Southern microdistrict, the territory of Amurkabel.- My decision to take part in the elections is dictated by the desire to be more actively involved in solving the problems of the region where I live and work. As a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Khabarovsk Territory, Deputy Chairman of the Council, I have been conducting public work in the field of housing and communal services and landscaping for several years. I regularly participate in detours with employees of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, inspect the progress of the implementation of the program "1000 yards", garbage reform. The deputy has much more powers that allow him to improve legislation in a particular area and, thereby, improve the life of the city and the region. With these goals in mind, I am going to the elections in September this year. The territory of the district from which I am running is familiar to me, because my childhood and youth were spent there. Of course, there are problems. Many of them, as elsewhere, relate to housing and communal services and landscaping. And we have already started to solve some of them. For example, it was possible to demolish the fence on Amurkabel beach and not only preserve the historical boundaries of this popular holiday destination, but also increase the area of the beach. This was made possible thanks to the activity of residents of Amurkabel and the Southern microdistrict, we managed to collect enough signatures to implement this initiative. I think this is a great example of the involvement of residents in the problems of the area in which they live.I also received numerous appeals from residents of the district that there is a problem with mowing grass. In some places, sagebrush thickets exceeded human height. The lawn was put in order, branches were cut on the overgrown footpaths to the bus stop. We decided to continue the landscaping of this territory, so that as a result we get a well-groomed and beautiful square, the name of which will be invented by the residents themselves. I think it is very important for a candidate for deputy, and then for a deputy, to constantly be in touch with his voters, to receive first-hand information about the problems of the territory. On the other hand, people need to be a little more active. Quite a lot of projects aimed at improving courtyards and public territories are being implemented in the city and the region, for example, the program "1000 yards in the Far East". By the way, thanks to Dmitry Viktorovich Demeshin, Khabarovsk Territory has additionally allocated 677 million rubles for the implementation of this program.I am grateful to the United Russia Party for the trust placed in me, for considering my candidacy worthy of nomination in the upcoming elections. For my part, I will make every effort to justify the trust of the party and my voters," commented Nikita Bozhok, General Director of the Far Eastern Project Center.
